The SCA Group is proud to announce that we have achieved a Gold Award in the prestigious annually run scheme by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The RoSPA Awards Scheme is currently celebrating 60 years of presenting highly-regarded and sought after accolades to businesses and organisations which have displayed a significant commitment to accident prevention and the avoidance of ill-health.
Through the scheme, which is open to businesses of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, awards are made on a Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit basis, and are a recognition of a company’s occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
The head of RoSPA’s awards and events, Julia Small, commented that “To win an award at a highly-regarded event such as RoSPA Awards is a huge achievement for all of our winners. It recognizes their commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to. We offer them our congratulations”.
The Gold Award achieved by the SCA Group is testament to our Health & Safety Manager, Garry Dow, and all of our Senior Management for implementing Garry’s procedures and systems, and taking on board his action plans and visions for the company’s safety management.
Managing Director, Lee Bennett, couldn’t praise Garry enough when asked about SCA achieving the award. He said “For a company of our size and stature, and moreover as a new entrant to the RoSPA scheme, this achievement is unbelievable, and will take our business to a whole new level. Garry has now set the bar for Health & Safety exceptionally high and I know he is the man to keep it there. From all at SCA we extend him our thanks and congratulations”.
