SCA Group Secure Industrial Coatings Contract at Battersea Power Station

SCA Groups Industrial Coatings Division are extremely proud to have successfully demonstrated capability and expertise in working within sensitive environments, SCA Group tendered for the exposed steel work contract at Battersea Power Station development supporting the main contractor responsible, SCA Demonstrated a collaborative working attitude providing an onsite Division to respond to the daily task of returning the buildings steelwork back to a visually satisfying condition and protecting the main structure for its new residents upon completion. SCA Group Secure Fuel Storage Build Project

SCA Group have been successful in securing the new build Fuel Storage project in Gosport working with Murphy Group. SCA Group are contracted to provide all the access Scaffold requirements for the duration of the build and will support Murphy for the duration of new tank development which is being constructed to support the new aircraft carriers in Portsmouth Naval Base where SCA Group are also main contractor to BAE in providing all access scaffold for the on going maintenance of the Fleet.  SCA Group are highly experienced in working in sensitive environments and industrial locations

SCA Group Secure UVDB B2 Audit Status

SCA Group have been a long serving member of Achilles RISQS serving the rail industry with Scaffold/Industrial Coatings and Rope Access Services.

Now having undergone the UVDB audit we are proud to announce we are now UVDB B2 audit verified allowing us to enter the Utility Sector with client confidence and to extend our capability with far more depth, having already serviced selected clients within this industry we can now reach out to the main utility operators enabling them to utilise an already proven service delivery partner in our areas of expertise.

SCA Group selected Partner for Viaduct refurbishment

SCA Group Project Scaffold Division were selected to deliver the access solution for South Harrow Viaduct for London Underground.
Having delivered previous projects to a high standard/on time and within budget we were extremely fortunate to be selected by the main contractor to partner on such a large refurbishment project within London.

Due to the sensitive nature of working around local business owners who where housed within the arches of the Viaduct SCA Group were required to work with them to ensure access could be maintained at all times.

As SCA Group have been delivering projects such as these for many years and again it demonstrates our competence and capability.

Scaffold Project wins for London Underground

SCA Group deliver again!

Having completed a number of minor projects for London Underground SCA Group Scaffold Projects Division deliver Alperton Bridge Refurbishment Scaffold on time and on budget!

Having to work around a number of sensitive environments such as the general public/Environmental Agency/LUL rail network the scaffold was erected to provide access to enable much needed refurbish work and structural strengthening.

SCA Group were commended on the Quality of the labour and scaffold standards enabling further wins for the division, this demonstrates the broad industry sectors and complex projects SCA Group are able to deliver.

By working collaboratively with both client and main contractor SCA Group were the selected contractor for the next contract moving straight onto another complex access requirement incorporating the SCA Rope Access Division.

SCA Industrial Services setting new standards within the industry!

SCA Industrial Services are setting new standards across the U.K.

The award of works at new sites across the U.K. has been down to the collaborative working attitude and can do approach from an establish industrial management team.

Having been presented with Industrial Coating issues by the client SCA Group overcame and provided a Rope Access Paint team to recoat a number of structures and from there were invited to tender for access scaffold services at the plant.

Following a tender process SCA Group were successful and awarded the scaffold services demonstrating our commitment to Health and Safety, our ability to work in extremely sensitive environments and that our staff are professional and competent individuals.

SCA Group were praised for the standard of scaffold received and that it had now elevated the plants expectations based on what it had historically received.

Portsmouth Eastern Road Bridge Handed Back

In March 2017 SCA Group were engaged as a multi discipline subcontractor to deliver the Eastern Road Bridge project working collaboratively with the main contractor, having been a close partner on previous complex projects SCA Group were selected to help provide Scaffolding Containment and Industrial Coating services.

SCA Group were selected by 2 of the 3 tendering contractors to provide the partnering package and supported both to provide a different but equally very high standard of proposal.

The project involved floating scaffold materials to the bridge during tidal periods on barges, erecting and then containing the bridge structure using shrink wrap containment.

Following full containment SCA conducted a full blast and Coating application to provide a 20+ year life and now we can be seen on our final departure all loaded and back to port!

A complex but successful project and a great example of collaborative working with client and Contractors!

We don’t believe projects can be delivered successfully any other way.

As SCA Group expand into new industry sectors we rely on our staff to work with us and our clients to ensure we are seen as a true partner in the areas of which we work.

Health & Safety at SCA Group

Ensuring our staff and our clients are protected is not a small task however Jamie Lyons steps up to this responsibility everyday of the week as HSEQ Manager.

Jamie Lyons joining to SCA Group was necessary to ensure our on-going expansion could be managed safely ensuring that a managed approach and controlled implementation could take place and a consistent message to all our SCA locations was received.

Jamie provides valuable support to all of our operations/HSE managers providing them weekly updates and ensuring all toolbox talks are carried out correctly.

Jamie’s industrial background is hugely valuable having been embedded in industrial site management and being able to develop SCA Groups Industrial HSEQ environment across all disciplines of the business.

Jamie’s contribution is felt daily by the business and our clients who rely on SCA Group to maintain a safe working environment at their locations.

SCA Industrial Services Secure Roof Cleaning Project

SCA Group Industrial Services have successfully secured a project working at height utilising Rope Access Techniques to clean in excess of 52,000m2 of roof – SCA have resourced the project with the majority of the work conducted using Rope Access Techniques.

This offered technical challenges as by working on a coastal location and working on such vast roof sizes a safe method of working was crucial, a team were assigned the mammoth task and as you can see have made a huge impact.

This project demonstrates SCA Groups ability to remain diverse and able to provide a fully managed industrial Service.
